ChangeTip for WordPress: Accept Tips / Bitcoin Donations

All webmasters are always looking for new ways to monetize their content. Accepting donations is one way to keep your blog going. We have already covered plenty of PayPal and Bitcoin plugins that make it easier for authors to accept donations. ChangeTip is a tad bit different. It lets your visitors show their appreciation for your content by sending you small tips in various ways.

ChangeTip supports Disqus, Facebook, Twitter, and other social sites. It is also possible to tip users by e-mail. Users do have the option to send Bitcoin payments to others. They will just have to buy bitcoin using a credit card or via Coinbase. The plugin lets you display a “tip” button in your posts.

Once you have installed the button, your visitors will be able to send you tips for your content and include a note with it. What happens when you earn tips? You can withdraw it through your ChangeTip dashboard for a small fee. The plugin is free to try.
