Create a RSS Feed Aggregator with Accumulo for WordPress

👉 Divi Builder drag/drop page builder for WordPress

If you have been surfing the Internet in the past few months, you have probably had time to check AllTop. It’s a news aggregator that aims to let its visitors keep track of almost anything under the sun. While it does not cover every single topic you can think of, it’s still pretty impressive in size. You may not be able to duplicate what the AllTop team has accomplished over the past few months. But you can always create your very own news aggregator to keep track of your own favorite topics on your own site. Accumulo for WordPress is just the theme for that cause. It lets you create your own AllTop style website next to your blog and share your favorite feeds with the world.

The theme is pretty clean and very easy to use. All you have to do is add your favorite RSS feed in the back-end, and you are set to go. You can change the name and order of tabs in the back-end. In order to get the best look possible with this theme, you want to provide it with feed name, URL, and favicon. You are not limited to blog feeds here. As long as you can get your hands on a RSS feed, you can add it to this theme (that includes Twitter and Google RSS feeds too).

What’s nice about this theme is not only the fact that it gives a lot of control to its users, when it comes to changing how things look on it, but also the fact that you can have a blog next to your news aggregator as well. The theme is quite dynamic as well, so it looks much more expensive than it really is.

Overall, Accumulo  is one of the most impressive aggregator themes that I have seen on the market today. It is able to handle all your feeds and is quite dynamic too. The social widgets (for Twitter, …) are a big plus. Gives you a quick way to turn your WordPress install into an AllTop type website.
