Branding is a huge deal if you are serious about this “blogging thing.” You are not going to make it as a super blogger without taking time to brand yourself and your blog, building trust with your community members and fans in the process. Choosing a decent logo for your blog is a good start, but you want to make sure you display your brand on all your blog pages, including your login page (if you allow user registrations). Changing the logo of your login page is not difficult especially if you know some coding. Even if you don’t know any coding, you can use Login Logo Customization plugin to get the job done easily.

The process is very simple. Install the plugin and activate it. You should see a logo link show up in your back-end. From there, you can define the URL for your login page logo and even define its redirect behavior. Technically, you can use any image to replace your default login logo. I used a large screen-shot to see how this plugin works and not surprisingly it could handle it.

This plugin’s code is not really that difficult to figure out. As I mentioned, changing a logo does not really take that much work, but if you don’t want to touch your code, this plugin is a nice script to pick up.

To summarize, Login Logo Customization is pretty useful plugin for anyone serious about their blog branding efforts. It’s easy to use and delivers what it promises.
