WordPress Code: Cursor Spotlight Effect

WordPress already comes with everything you need to share your content with the world. You don’t always need super fancy plugins to enhance its capabilities. For instance, you can write a simple function to improve readability on your website with a cursor spotlight effect.  So what does this do? It creates a flashlight effect that follows you around the page. Everything outside the mouse cursor is dimmed to 30%.

Just add this to your functions.php, and you are set. It is possible to change the size of the highlighted sections, speed, and other settings with small modifications.
